Olympic breakdancer Dr Rachael Gunn, popularly known as "Raygun," will be the keynote speaker the 2025 International Women's Day event to be held at Hurstville next March.

Business Chamber South the event on Friday, 7 March 2025, at the Southern Sydney Event Centre, Hurstville.

The breakfast event, presented by Business Chamber South with the support of Georges River Council, will be held at Friday, 7 March 2025, at the Southern Sydney Event Centre, Hurstville.

Dr Rachael Gunn is not only a champion in the breakdancing world but also a lecturer at Macquarie University and a PhD holder in Cultural Studies.

She will speak on competing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and her advocacy for individuality and self-expression for women

Business Chamber South President Tony Baddour said, "International Women's

Day is a pivotal occasion to recognise and celebrate the remarkable contributions of women in our community and beyond. This breakfast highlights our shared commitment to advancing equality and creating opportunities for all."

Georges River Council Mayor, Elise Borg said, "We are honoured to support the International Women's Day Breakfast. It's a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the achievements of women while committing to a more inclusive and equitable future for everyone."

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to a charity chosen by Dr Gunn.
